The applicator will be placed on your skin and will slowly get warmer until it reaches the needed temperature. You may also feel a gentle suction on your skin, like a very low-power vacuum, as the applicator moves around the area. Each session lasts 20-30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Most patients find 6-8 treatments per area, spaced 1 week apart, provide the best possible results. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated. We will discuss your specific treatment plan during your consultation.
Treatment costs vary depending on the size of the area and number of treatments needed. Most people feel comfortable during treatment. Some patients with lower pain tolerance have reported feeling a few points of mild discomfort during treatment.The level of heat and suction can easily be adjusted to ensure a more tolerable patient experience throughout the treatment. Your Infinity service provider will work with you to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire treatment.
Absolutely no downtime. The treatment area may look a little flushed and warm to the touch, but this will go away within 1-2 hours. You can return to your daily schedule immediately after your treatment. We also recommend you avoid sun exposure without SPF.
The best candidate is someone who has pockets of cellulite and/or excess body fat that they can’t get rid of with diet and exercise alone, and who doesn’t want surgery. An ideal candidate is also someone who is starting to lose elasticity in their skin and is showing early signs of sagging and wrinkles.
Everyone is different, but in general, most people begin to see a difference after only 2-3 visits and see excellent results after only 6-8 treatment sessions. The treatments are cumulative. After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve for up to 3-4 months. After that, your face and body continue to age, so maintenance is recommended once a month or every 3-4 months, depending on the person.
